Coming Soon!!  Rustic Applique is our in-house-made hand-pressed paper-clay mouldings.  The paper-clay recipe is one I created as I couldn't find a product that suited my needs. The clay and mouldings are made in small batches in the Willow & Fink studio. The mouldings are imperfectly perfect; being hand pressed they can vary slightly in design and appearance.  When dry the mouldings take on a rustic and textured appearance. They can be sanded, drilled, carved and easily cut, and become semi-flexible when heated with a hairdryer or heat gun.  Once applied with a quality glue, they just need to be painted and sealed, and voila all done.

We also stock a range of imported carved solid wood appliques.  The appliques are made from sustainably sourced rubberwood, and just need to be glued to your project.  These appliques are not flexible.  To shop solid wood appliques click here

FlexiWood mouldings are appliques and trims made from wood pulp that has been derived from wood processing byproducts.   They are special because you can bend them! Using a heat source such as a heat gun, hair dryer or electric frypan, flexibility and elasticity is activated in the FlexiWood. This allows it to wrap, bend, and conform to almost any surface. 
 
You can glue them to surfaces using any wood glue available from craft or hardware stores, just make sure that the entire underside of your FlexiWood moulding is coated with wood glue before applying to your project.
